Direct delivery
Fluids and nutrients enter the bloodstream directly, bypassing digestion. This can matter when oral intake is difficult, when nausea is present, or when fluid losses have outpaced what drinking can replace.
Restore. Replenish. Perform.
Physician-led IV hydration and nutrient therapy, selected around your goals, medical history, symptoms, and labs when they are relevant — not chosen off a menu board. Book a single infusion at the listed non-member rate, or make it routine with an Aevum membership.
IV hydration therapy delivers sterile fluids, electrolytes, and selected nutrients directly into a vein rather than through the digestive tract. For someone who is genuinely depleted — after illness, a hard training block, travel, a long Houston summer, or a night that went further than planned — that route can restore fluid volume and replace what has been lost more directly than drinking alone.
What it is not is a shortcut around a diagnosis. At Aevum Restorative Wellness, an infusion is one tool inside a plan, chosen after screening and reviewed against your history — the same lab-guided approach we apply to hormones, weight, and peptides. Sometimes the right answer is an IV. Sometimes it is a lab panel, a referral, or nothing at all.
Fluids and nutrients enter the bloodstream directly, bypassing digestion. This can matter when oral intake is difficult, when nausea is present, or when fluid losses have outpaced what drinking can replace.
Your clinician selects fluid volume, nutrients, any eligible medication components, dose, route, and infusion rate. Two patients requesting the same drip may leave with different formulations, or with a recommendation not to infuse at all.
Hydration and electrolyte repletion are well understood. Broader wellness, cognitive, and longevity claims made across this industry are far less settled. We will tell you which is which, and results vary from person to person.

Foundational fluid therapy intended to support hydration, fluid balance, and recovery from routine dehydration or fatigue — the most common reason patients come to us in a Houston summer.
A balanced nutrient infusion built on the classic Myers’ cocktail formulation, intended to support normal energy metabolism, hydration, and micronutrient replenishment.
An enhanced version of the classic Myers’ formulation with increased nutrient concentrations, offered to patients who qualify for a more comprehensive wellness infusion after review.
Supportive hydration for selected patients experiencing dehydration, nausea, headache, or fatigue after overindulgence, illness, or travel. Prescription components are ordered by a clinician only when medically appropriate.
Built for active patients seeking hydration, electrolyte replenishment, and amino-acid support following strenuous training, endurance events, or heat exposure.
A comprehensive nutrient and antioxidant formulation developed for busy professionals, frequent travelers, and patients seeking support for fatigue and reduced mental stamina. Persistent fatigue deserves a workup, not just an infusion — we will say so.
A nutrient infusion formulated with vitamin C, zinc, and glutathione to support normal immune function, antioxidant defenses, and hydration. It does not prevent or treat infection.
A glutathione-focused infusion intended to support the body’s own antioxidant systems and normal metabolic and hepatic pathways. We do not present it as a detoxification treatment, and it does not remove toxins on demand.
A higher-concentration vitamin C infusion offered only to medically eligible patients following appropriate screening. G6PD testing and additional laboratory evaluation may be required before treatment.
Supportive hydration and symptom-directed treatment for selected patients experiencing migraine or tension-headache symptoms. Medication selection depends on clinical eligibility, and new or changing headache patterns need evaluation first.
Work with the Aevum clinical team to build an individualized infusion using up to six eligible additives, selected according to your health history, goals, symptoms, and provider assessment.
NAD+ is a naturally occurring coenzyme involved in cellular energy, mitochondrial metabolism, redox balance, and DNA-maintenance pathways. Higher doses are available, and the evidence base is still developing.
A single Standard IV is $250 for non-members and a Premium IV is $400. If IV therapy is going to be part of your routine rather than a one-off, an Aevum membership includes recurring infusions, ongoing physician-guided care, and preferred pricing across our other programs.
A streamlined membership for ongoing physician-guided care and consistent foundational IV wellness.
A higher-value plan for patients who want a Premium IV every month, priority access, and deeper savings across the Aevum platform.
Full tier details, annual pricing, friend-and-family benefits, and the complete comparison are laid out on our membership pricing page. Membership inclusions are subject to membership terms and clinical eligibility — an included infusion is still only administered when it is appropriate for you.
Eligible additives can be incorporated into an infusion or given separately when clinically appropriate. Doses are selected by your clinician rather than chosen from a menu, and members should ask about preferred pricing.
These may be requested and are added when your clinician agrees they are appropriate for your infusion and your health history.
The medications below are prescription-only and are not available on request. They are ordered by a clinician when your evaluation supports it, and cost is discussed at your visit. They are listed here for transparency about what an Aevum infusion may contain — not as items to select.
Add-ons are not automatically appropriate for every patient. Prescription medications, higher-dose vitamins, intramuscular injections, and other additives require individualized review of allergies, current medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, medical history, vital signs, and potential contraindications. Your clinician determines what is appropriate for you, and a requested add-on may be declined on clinical grounds.
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, or NAD+, is a naturally occurring coenzyme present in every human cell. It participates in mitochondrial energy production, oxidation-reduction reactions, cellular signaling, and DNA-maintenance pathways.
Patients usually come to us about NAD+ for fatigue, mental stamina, recovery, or healthy-aging goals. We will talk you through what the biology supports, what remains under study, and whether an infusion is a reasonable next step for you — or whether a lab-guided workup should come first.
NAD+ participates in the biochemical reactions used to convert nutrients into cellular energy and to support mitochondrial metabolism.
Some patients pursue NAD+ for fatigue, reduced mental stamina, or brain-fog symptoms. Individual response varies and benefits are not guaranteed.
NAD+ serves as a substrate for enzymes involved in normal DNA repair, cellular stress responses, and metabolic regulation.
NAD+ and NADH help transfer electrons during normal metabolic reactions and contribute to cellular redox balance.
Research into intravenous NAD+ for wellness and longevity-related goals remains evolving. Aevum does not present NAD+ as a cure, a reversal of aging, or a guaranteed performance treatment.
If you have only ever been to a drip bar, the first appointment at our Houston Heights clinic will feel different. Here is what actually happens.
We review your symptoms and goals, medical and surgical history, current medications and supplements, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, prior infusion reactions, and vital signs.
Your clinician decides whether an infusion is appropriate and, if so, which one — including fluid volume, nutrients, any eligible medication components, dose, route, and infusion rate. Laboratory testing is requested where it would change the decision.
An IV is placed and your infusion begins. Trained clinical staff monitor you throughout and can slow, modify, or stop the infusion if symptoms or safety concerns develop. Most standard infusions run roughly 45 to 60 minutes.
You will be given aftercare guidance and, where relevant, a plan for follow-up or repeat treatment. If we recommended labs or a referral, we will explain what we are looking for and why.
Most clinics in this category will only tell you who should book. Eligibility is a clinical decision made during your evaluation, never from a questionnaire alone, and the lists below are illustrative rather than complete.
Houston has no shortage of places to get an IV. The difference is not the bag — it is who decides what goes in it, and what happens when the answer should be no.
| How care is delivered | Typical IV bar or med spa | Aevum Restorative Wellness |
|---|---|---|
| Who selects your infusion | You choose from a menu | A clinician selects it after reviewing your history |
| Screening before treatment | Often a brief intake form | Medical screening before every infusion, every visit |
| Role of laboratory testing | Rarely involved | Requested when results would change the decision |
| Physician oversight | Varies widely | Physician-led clinic under a named medical director |
| When a request is not appropriate | Frequently accommodated anyway | Declined, explained, and an alternative suggested |
| How IV fits your wider care | Standalone service | Integrated with hormones, weight, and peptide programs |
This compares categories of provider rather than any specific business, and practices vary. If IV therapy is one part of a broader plan, you may also want to read about physician-led medical weight loss or our full range of restorative wellness services.
Aevum Restorative Wellness is a physician-led medical clinic in Houston Heights, not a self-service hydration bar. Treatment selection begins with screening and remains subject to provider review, whether you are coming in for a single hydration infusion or building IV therapy into an ongoing plan with our clinical team.
We review relevant medical history, medications, allergies, symptoms, pregnancy status, prior reactions, vital signs, and potential contraindications before treatment.
Your provider determines the appropriate fluids, nutrients, medications, dose, route, infusion rate, and any required laboratory testing.
Trained clinical personnel monitor your treatment and can slow, modify, or discontinue an infusion if symptoms or safety concerns develop.

Most standard hydration infusions take approximately 45 to 60 minutes. Specialty infusions, including NAD+, are generally administered more slowly and may take longer depending on dose, tolerance, vascular access, and the clinically selected infusion rate.
Every patient requires medical screening before treatment. Depending on the selected infusion, your health history, and your current symptoms, a more detailed provider evaluation or laboratory testing may be required first.
IV therapy is administered and monitored by appropriately trained clinical personnel operating under Aevum Restorative Wellness clinical protocols and physician oversight. Staff can slow, modify, or discontinue an infusion if symptoms or safety concerns develop.
Eat something beforehand, drink water normally, and bring a current list of your medications, supplements, and allergies. Wear something with sleeves that move easily. If you have had a difficult IV placement or a reaction to an infusion in the past, tell us at intake.
IV therapy may not be appropriate for people with certain kidney, heart, or fluid-balance conditions, relevant allergies, some medication regimens, or who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Eligibility is determined through clinical screening, and a requested infusion may be declined on medical grounds.
Reported effects include discomfort, bruising, swelling, or irritation at the IV site, and less commonly lightheadedness, a metallic taste, flushing, warmth, or nausea during the infusion. Allergic reactions and infection are uncommon but possible. Specific risks depend on the components selected for you and are reviewed before treatment begins.
G6PD testing and assessment of renal function or other relevant laboratory markers may be required before higher-dose vitamin C. Your clinician determines the necessary screening based on the proposed dose and your health history.
No. Individual response depends on hydration status, nutrient status, medical conditions, medications, sleep, nutrition, and many other factors. Results vary, and IV therapy is not represented as a cure or guaranteed treatment for any disease or symptom.
No. Aevum’s outpatient IV services are not emergency care. Symptoms such as chest pain, severe shortness of breath, confusion, fainting, stroke symptoms, severe allergic reaction, or uncontrolled vomiting require emergency evaluation or a call to 911.
At Aevum, the Hydrate infusion is $150 for non-members, a Standard IV is $250, a Premium IV is $400, and a fully custom formulation is $500. Member pricing is lower and is shown beside every treatment on this page. Prices are subject to change.
Both are shown. Each treatment card lists the standard non-member price alongside the preferred member price. Memberships include recurring IV therapy and preferred pricing across additional services.
The Standard IV category currently includes the Myers’ Drip, Recovery Drip, Immunity Drip, Athletic Performance Recovery, and Migraine Drip, each listed at a $250 non-member price. Hydrate is a separate foundational infusion priced at $150.
You may request a nutrient or amino additive, but final selection depends on clinical appropriateness, allergies, medication interactions, medical history, pregnancy status, vital signs, and the base infusion chosen. Prescription components are ordered by a clinician and are not available on request.
Frequency depends on why you are receiving it. Some patients come once around a specific event, others monthly as part of a membership. More is not automatically better, and your clinician will advise on an interval that makes sense for your situation.
NAD+ usually requires a slower and longer infusion than routine hydration therapy. Duration varies by dose, tolerance, symptoms, vascular access, and the clinically selected infusion rate.
Wellness IV services are generally self-pay. Coverage and reimbursement depend on your individual insurance plan, so check directly with your insurer and raise payment questions before treatment begins.
Select mobile services may be available within the Greater Houston area depending on your location, staffing, treatment type, and clinical eligibility. You can read more on our mobile wellness page.
Often, yes — when your clinician has reviewed the combination and it fits your goals, medications, and laboratory findings. IV therapy is regularly used alongside hormone therapy for men, hormone therapy for women, peptide therapy, and medical weight management. Combining treatments is a clinical decision, not an upgrade.
