Here's how Aevum supports weight loss, hormones, recovery and day-to-day health — without guessing. Every program starts with a physician-led evaluation and, when it's clinically useful, lab work.

Medical Weight Loss in Houston
When the scale won't budge, it can feel personal — but your biology may be resisting change.
We help you build a medically supervised plan that supports steady progress, with ongoing clinical monitoring along the way.
Your plan may include nutrition guidance, movement targets, and — when appropriate — prescription options.
The goal is less struggle and more control. Results vary from person to person, and treatment is offered only when a clinician determines it is medically appropriate.
Hormone Therapy for Men and Women in Houston
Low or imbalanced hormones can show up as fatigue, low motivation, mood changes, and feeling like 'I don't feel like myself.'
Our goal is careful, monitored restoration — guided by your symptoms, your labs and close follow-up.
Many patients report improvements in energy, sleep, strength and mental clarity. Hormone therapy is not appropriate for everyone, and your clinician will review your health history and risk factors before recommending it.

Peptide Therapy in Houston
Peptides are tools — not magic. In the right plan, they can support recovery, body composition, and performance.
We focus on fit and safety: what you're trying to improve, what's realistic, and how we'll monitor you.
Recovery, energy, strength and resilience are common goals we support, based on your needs and your medical history.
All peptide therapies offered through our clinic are prescribed only after a comprehensive medical consultation with a licensed healthcare provider. We partner with a state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacy for customized peptide formulations when clinically appropriate. Patient safety and individualized care are our priorities, and every treatment plan is developed around each patient's health needs and goals.
IV Hydration and Concierge Physician Care in Houston
Some days you don't need more advice — you need support that respects your time.
IV hydration may help when you're depleted, traveling, recovering or simply run down — after a clinician screens you and confirms it is appropriate.
Concierge options are for patients who value higher access and continuity — including same-day appointments when you're unwell (schedule permitting) and direct care coordination.

What our patients say
Unpaid patient reviews, shared with permission. Individual results vary. These are personal accounts, not a promise, prediction or guarantee of any particular outcome, and they should not be read as evidence that a therapy treats any specific medical condition. Treatment is offered only after a licensed clinician determines it is medically appropriate.

How care works
What happens between your first call and your first follow-up
The sequence is the same across every service. It is deliberately slower at the start, because decisions made without data are the reason most wellness programs stall.
- You have persistent symptoms such as fatigue, poor sleep, brain fog, low libido, stalled weight or slow recovery
- You want a clinician to look at objective data before recommending anything
- Previous programs did not work, or worked briefly and then stopped
- You are comfortable with a direct-pay model and regular follow-up
- You are looking for a specific medication without an evaluation first
- You are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning pregnancy in the near term
- You have an active condition that needs specialist or emergency management
- You would prefer care billed through insurance
These are general guides, not eligibility rules. Candidacy for any therapy is determined by a licensed clinician after reviewing your history, examination and, where relevant, your laboratory results. Some therapies carry risks and side effects, which we review with you before you start.
Why Aevum
How we differ from a med spa or an online-only provider
Houston has no shortage of places to buy a treatment. Far fewer will evaluate you first, tell you when a treatment is not appropriate, and stay responsible for what happens next.
Aevum is a direct-pay practice and does not bill insurance. Consultations, laboratory work, medications and memberships are priced individually, and you will know what a plan costs before you commit to it. Many patients use HSA or FSA funds; eligibility depends on your plan administrator.
Some services are available a la carte and some are available at member rates. If cost is a deciding factor, the pricing page is the fastest way to compare.

More questions about care at Aevum
If your question is not answered here, ask it during your consultation. Nothing is decided before you understand it.
What happens at a first consultation?
Expect a detailed conversation rather than a quick intake. A clinician reviews your symptoms, medical history, medications and supplements, family history and goals, then performs an examination where relevant. From there we decide together which laboratory testing is worth running. In most cases you leave with a testing plan rather than a prescription.
What labs do you typically order?
It depends entirely on the service and on you. Weight-focused care often looks at metabolic and thyroid markers alongside a lipid panel. Hormone care looks at the relevant hormone pathways plus safety markers such as blood count and, for men, prostate-specific antigen where indicated. Peptide and IV care may need fewer tests, or none, depending on the plan. Your clinician will explain why each test is on the list.
How long before I notice anything?
Timelines vary by therapy and by person, and we will give you a realistic range for your specific plan rather than a marketing number. What we can commit to is the review schedule: you will have follow-up appointments and, where appropriate, repeat labs, so that progress is measured rather than assumed. Results vary, and some patients do not respond as hoped.
Are there risks or side effects?
Yes. Every therapy we offer has potential side effects, and some have meaningful risks or are inappropriate for certain patients. Hormone therapy, GLP-1 medications and peptides all carry considerations that we review with you in detail before you start, along with what to watch for and when to contact us. If a therapy is not a safe choice for you, we will tell you.
Do you offer telehealth?
Aevum is built around in-person care, either at our Houston Heights clinic or through mobile visits within roughly 20 miles. That is a deliberate choice: examinations, laboratory draws and infusions cannot be done through a screen, and in-person follow-up is a large part of why lab-guided care works.
Which services can be delivered at my home or office?
Many can, including IV hydration and a number of follow-up visits. Some appointments need to happen in clinic for safety, equipment or examination reasons. When you book, we will confirm what is possible for your specific plan and location.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Bring a list of current medications and supplements with doses, any recent laboratory results you have from another provider, and a short summary of what changed and when. If fasting labs are planned, we will tell you in advance. Wear something that allows easy access to your arm if a draw or infusion is scheduled.
Who oversees my care?
Aevum is physician-led. Care is delivered by a clinical team that includes a physician, a physician assistant and a nurse practitioner, with medical oversight from our Medical Director. You can read each clinician's training and background on our about page.
Where are you located and what areas do you serve?
Our clinic is at 1224 Houston Avenue, Suite 101, in Houston Heights, and we serve patients across the greater Houston area. Mobile visits are available within approximately 20 miles of the clinic. Contact us for directions, parking and appointment availability.
